BE In The Know: Fun Facts Friday Intro

🌱 Friday Intro ✨ Fact Friday 🌱

Grateful to have a handful of new followers on BE Career Development + Rochester Shops Local Instagrams, so I want to say hi! Please allow me to introduce myself a bit more:

~ here are some #funfacts about me ~

✨ My full name is Barbara Ellen Leicht

✨ That’s “light” like a light bulb

✨ It’s a brand new last name for me, as my husband Dan + I are newlyweds … I sometimes slightly pause before introducing my last name

ENFJ here! I’m 40% introverted which makes me an Ambivert … aka: I recharge via (plenty) of alone time  + can feel shy in public

✨ I used to be an Inclusive Adolescent English teacher + even taught at my old high school when my younger bro was there!

✨ Throughout college, I lived in Pittsburgh, Ireland, + Manhattan

✨ In Rochester, I’ve lived in 5 different city neighborhoods, the 1st being Beechwood where I grew-up until ~ age 10.5

✨ I started Shop Local blogging between 2011-2012 + started spotlight trends amidst the COVID crisis in 2020

✨ Cobalt is my fav color to wear if you can’t tell … imho it’s universally flattering

✨ I’m a dog lady turned cat mom + feel like the luckiest 💗 to love both fur babies

✨ Self-care is my hobby. I live with multiple invisible disabilities + learned years ago that I need to leverage consistent #SelfCare to stay thriving

✨ This, along with 10+ years’ success and expertise + having engaged in a number of wellness courses, informs my approach to being a Mindset Career Coach.

✨ I love smiling, smiling’s my favorite. I’m 100% a True Believer

🌱 what are some fun #Friyay facts you’d like to share?? 🌱

Cheers to being your best you! ✨
