And a Gift!: book your career consult for FREE through Friday 12.8.23 • code CCFREE2023 ✨

If there’s 1 thing the Holidays + Career Development have in common: it’s money

🌱 Ideally, being smart with money.

Being a new Women Owned Business (WOB) small business owner whose other side of business is supporting small + local businesses @rochestershops 💗 I know a few things about both.

🌱 Here are my holiday money saving’s #ProTips:

  1. #ShopLocal: along with being more fun, more unique, more sustainable … it is often more affordable!

  • you will find higher quality goods

  • often less expensive than big box

  • and less likely to go unused

~ that’s because love, thought, + a real human is behind them ~

  1. #Reuse: Yes. We have a dedicated space for reused gift bags + tissue paper

  • ribbons are saved

  • paper is folded

  • bags are renewed

~ better yet sew your own bags + if you do buy new, buy local or low-cost stores ~

  1. #ShopSmart: I say shopping with credit works when it puts $ back into your pocket to shop local

  • I bank 2% cash-back cards

  • always use these for gas + groceries

  • and deposit cash-back into my bank account

~ find a high yield savings acct via Nerd Wallet for monthly interest paid to you! ~

🌱 In addition: shopping sales, sticking to your list, + cultivating a less-is-more-thoughtful mindset w #ShopLocal • majorly • helps.

I’m basically done holiday shopping + under-budget at that ✨

What are your tips??

Cheers to being you best you! ✨
